“I stayed here for two weeks to start my first hitch in the oilfields of North Dakota. The facilities are nice for a small oil town but what really makes this place SPARKLE are the people. From the owner (Todd Morse, from Fargo) to the onsite managers Bill and Lynnette Pomerville and their daughter Kayla, I was made to feel like family from the first minute I set foot on the property.
The hot breakfast (sausage patties, biscuits and hearty sausage gravy) served every morning truly hits the spot for a country boy like me. Plus the 24-hour coffee pot and freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies put out every evening make guests feel like much more than just an account number in the hotel’s reservation system.
The bed linens are super soft, the beds are comfortable and the bath towels are softer than those commonly found at more much expensive national chains (think Holiday, Comfort, etc.).
You can’t go wrong here if you’re staying in Killdeer.”

“Hard working management”
“Rooms are clean, half motel is brand new. Price is much better than Cobblestone Inn. Management works very hard on trying to make your stay great. This is a oil boom area and most guest are oil field workers.”

“Stayed for a week while working in Killdeer, ND”
“This hotel was a great stay !! 4 stars, the Frank & Maggie were outstanding and very helpful in everyway, not bragging, but i woke Maggie up at 3 am and she greeted me with a smile. And i admit i am a scary looking guy but this team welcomed me with a cold fresh can of orange juice in the morning to go with the great bisquits and gravy w/bacon available with the hotel standard waffle and bagels. Beds were great, room was clean. The managers were just outstanding, two thumbs up to Frank & Maggie for providing some of that old style hospitality, not to mention Maggie was pretty easy on the eyes!!
“we were greeted with a smile and a juice of our choice! The front desk clerk Maggie asked us after we got our keys, orange-pineapple or granapple? we asked why? she said welcome to the mountain view hotel! Breakfast is at 5 am. hell! I have not received that type of greeting in a long time. Rooms were clean and heat worked just fine and dandy. The wifi and flatscreen tv’s were a big plus. We showed up for breakfast at 4:40 and the older guy had it all set up. The stay was worth every penny. we will be back in Jan. 2014.
